The Morrow Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting applications to fulfill four academic scholarships in the spring of 2026.

The District is privileged to be able to offer these opportunities to students. Our greatest appreciation goes out to the family and friends of our memorial scholarships for funding and support.

All Scholarship Applications are due to the Morrow SWCD Office by 4:30pm on April 8th, 2026.
Recipients will be announced the week of April 13th, 2026.

1. Residents of Morrow County, Ohio
2. Completing their senior rear in high school
3. Entering their freshman year at a two or four-year college or technical school
4. Maintaining, at least, a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale

In honor of Steve Ruhl, former OSU Extension Agricultural and Natural Resources Agent, the Morrow Soil and Water Conservation District has developed a $500 continuing scholarship for students who’s qualifications are as follows…
1. Parents are residents of Morrow County, Ohio
2. Must be a full-time college student entering the second year of an associates program, a junior or senior in a baccalaureate program, or in graduate school
3. Maintaining, at least, a 2.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale
4. Following a course of study in environmental issues, agriculture or education
