About the event

Dr. Curtis Young of the Van Wert OSU Extention Office will be at the Headwaters Outdoor Education Center to talk fungus on Sunday, April 14!

Curtis teaches on a diversity of subjects such as basic entomology, plant biology, field identification of the macro-fungi, and plant pathology to Master Gardener Volunteer Trainees, Plant and Pest Diagnostics, commercial and private pesticide applicator license recertification training, and Forensic Entomology. He also conducts field research and survey work in the area of agronomic crop production systems.

Marion Mushrooms is excited to be joining us during this event and will be selling Mushroom Grow Kits to anyone interested.

Marion Mushrooms grows a number of varieties of gourmet for sale to local restaurants and farmer’s markets. We offer a variety of DIY Grow Kits so that you can have the same amazing experience of watching the fast and beautiful process.
